Great house and pretty garden in an excellent location with lovely walks along the estuary and a very local pub. Peaceful at times and full of activity on the river at others. The house is very well furnished and equipped and the beds very comfortable. We had a minor problem with a fridge door not working but otherwise the place was splendid and the host very responsive. Thank you very much for a nice stay despite our need to return early.

Great location. Glorious walks within a few paces along the estuary and into woods. Didn't eat at the pub but it has large open space with a magnificent view. Lovely fresh enormous eggs and superb honey from a village resident a few doors away. House has spacious living space, plenty of clean towels and all the necessaries in the kitchen.

Clair's place was exactly what we were looking for and more. The house was really spacious and comfortable, garden furniture just what we needed for family lunch in the sun. Kitchen was really well-provisioned. Being so close to the river meant early morning walks, listening to the sea birds, taking a cup of tea down to the beach for some quiet reflection. Heaven.

After a long journey it was refreshingly easy to find and enter. Plenty of room for the car, although we only had 1 car the extra parking is right out back. We didn't realise there was a wonderful pub 1 minute walk away, with great views and food. The house was wonderful, spacious, clean and perfect for our stay. However the Mrs now wants an open plan kitchen extension after seeing Clairs so this holiday will end up costing me 50k+ .
All round great venue, we will be staying longer next time.

We had a wonderful stay here with our 2.5yo. The nearby river and pub (Maybush Inn) were lovely to have so nearby. The house spacious and was very well setup, and served as a great base for exploring the local area.
